The Sundance Marine Melbourne Osaka Cup fleet as always, is a diverse one. At one end of the scale we have entries such as Allegro at a grand 67 feet in length. We have a number of 36 and 40 foot entries, all designed in the past few years and programed for performance ocean racing.
We also have a very well known and trusted vessel, an S&S 34, Morning Star with co-skippers Jo Breen and Peter Brooks. They’re the first to start on March 15 and the race modelling shows that it could take them 45 days or more to reach their goal. Jo was kind enough to let us come aboard and she outlined what provisions of food water and fuel stocks they have to get them to Osaka.
