This week George is visiting Osaka to confirm race finishing arrangements with various authorities along with members of the OHYC Committee. He met the crews from race entry Trekkee hailing from Yokohama, as well as Zero with the home base of Hiroshima. The Battle Flags were unveiled in George’s hotel lobby making a spectacular display. At the Osaka City Council, George met with the president Takeshita Takeshi where yacht back stay flags were presented.
George also met the very happy crew from Jazz Player – Kayoko & Mitsuo. Their flag took up the whole of this Osaka bar when it was unfurled.
