Osaka’s Hotel Universal Port has special rates on offer during April and May next year – the period when our Melbourne to Osaka competitors are expected to finish the race.
The event finishes at Osaka Hokko Yacht Club and as the boats arrive, pens are found in the Marina adjacent to the club rooms for the boats who’ve just completed the race. However space in the Hokko Marina is limited and so for the 2018 event with more than the number of entries that can be accommodated there, additional moorings will be created alongside the Universal Studios theme park. These moorings will be particularly suitable for a number of our deep draft boats.
The Hotel Universal Port is part of the Universal Studios complex and so family and friends who are able to book a room there will be close to a number of the competing boats. To make it easy to take up the offer the Hotel management has created a special page celebrating the Sundance Marine Melbourne Osaka Cup where you’ll be able to select your dates and easily see the rates. Because the arrival period of our competitors spans the national Golden Week holiday period, those wishing to make the most of this offer are urged to book soon.
