As we post, there’s just on 50 days to go until the main Race Start on March 25th. However as we all know, there’s actually three starts to consider which sit one week earlier and one week later than that date. Then as of this week one boat, Morning Star, will start even earlier. Jo and Peter will set sail for Osaka on March 15 and this additional time should ensure that they’re in Osaka along with the rest of the fleet for the presentation ceremony on May 5th.
This week the official starting times were issued by the organizing committee listing start dates for each boat and an estimate, based on modeling, of when they’ll arrive in Osaka. Unfortunately the list is a little shorter than it’s been previously as a couple of entries have recently withdrawn. Illness among the crew or immediate family of the crew has been the main reason for this.
Below is a list of the competitors, the start dates and an estimate of when they’ll arrive in Osaka. Of course there’s a lot of water to flow under each boat before then!

今週正式なスタートタイムがコミッティーによってリストアップされました。これは各艇のボート構造から彼らがいつ頃大阪に到着するか予想されたものに基づいています。残念ながらこのリストは最近いくつかのエントリーが取り下げられたため以前のものよりも少なくなっています。クルー本人かそのごく近い家族の病気が主な原因です。
