The Flags are Flying at Sandringham as crews continue to arrive and Sandringham has become a hive of activity as crews complete the final preparations.
Various boats have been up on the hardstand, being cleaned, anti fouled, polished and with last minute repairs. The yard has been certainly busy.

“Tack” – was heard by the team preparing the detailed lists for the gear being sent by container as they adapted their plans to accept delivery into a slightly different location creating a storage unit for all the gear to continue to arrive.
Getting the Rhythm of Life right before such a long passage is key, with loved ones farewelled, person and work commitments completed. This past week Megan Grant married and could be known as our “Sail Away Bride” and plans a novel honeymoon in Japan and a sail home with her parents and husband.

The countdown is definitely on with Curious Roo set to start from Portsea tomorrow Sunday 2nd March 2025 at 4.40pm. The offical duties are underway to ensure they are ready to race.
