As the fleet sails from Melbourne to Japan, you can track their progress using the Race Tracker here: https://race.bluewatertracks.com/2025-melbourne-osaka-cup-double-handed-race
The satellite devices on each yacht periodically transmit position updates to the satellite, which are then relayed to our system for you to view.
Please note, if you see a yacht near land, don’t be concerned. The position displayed is a “projected” one, based on the last known reading. It will continue in the same direction and at the same speed until the next update, which is shown as a dotted line on the tracker.
For a quick overview, check the leaderboard for an estimate of the yacht’s progress. You can also click over to the “Boat” tab for more details about each yacht and its crew.
By default, all boats are displayed in orange. If you’re following a specific yacht (or yachts), simply click on the boat icon, then use the “paint can” icon to change the color for easy identification.
Clicking on a boat will also display its projected time of arrival, along with key stats like the next satellite update and boat speeds.
