A message through today from Sally who’s organizing much of the documentation for the event. By all accounts there are still quiet a number of our entrants who haven’t completed the required forms for customs. Below are some details you’ll certainly need to take notice of.
Please find listed all the Customs requirements for your participation in the 2018 Melbourne Osaka Cup.
Attached is a Smallcraft Arrival Report form (B333). For every yacht’s departure Customs will need:
- as much information on page 1 & 2 as you can provide (exclude ‘Arrival Details’)
- any firearms, narcotics, animals which will be on board on departure on page 3,
- engine, safety equipment and contacts in Australia details on page 4.
Customs will need this information, no later than seven (7) days prior to the expected departure (earlier if it is available as it makes the process faster for us). Please send the completed forms to rd@melbourneosakacup.com; shippingvic@abf.gov.au; susan.tanck@abf.gov.au
CLEARANCE TIMES
